NEW BEGINNING

Our church has been in existence for over 20 years, from my mom and dad, Bessie and Julius Parfait, who pastored the original church Island Christian Fellowship on 318 Island Rd.

 

To us here today with a new building and new address at 194 LA-665 Montegut, LA 79377 and a new name called New Beginning, a place where your life can begin again.

 

We have been at our current location for over eight years. This past Palm Sunday made 12 years.

 

If you're looking for a church who believes and preaches the message of the cross then look no further. We preach Christ crucified. We believe in the Trinity; we believe in the moving and operation of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and preach the entirety of the Bible. We believe Jesus is the only way to God the Father. We believe in the finished work of Christ at Calvary's cross. We believe what Jesus accomplished at Calvary is just not the answer for some things but the answer to all things.
